SHERATON SAND KEY RESORT EARNS 4TH DIAMOND

CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. - (March 1, 2004) - The Sheraton Sand Key Resort was among Auto Club South's 167 lodgings and restaurants in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee that won the AAA Four Diamond award for 2004.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) and Mobil Travel Guide rate hotels using specific criteria judged annually by anonymous inspectors. To earn the four diamonds rating, a property must reflect an exceptional degree of hospitality, service and attention-to-detail, while offering upscale facilities and a variety of amenities. Only three percent of hotels in the United States have this distinction.

"We are truly honored to be recognized as a member of this elite category by such an established group in the travel and tourism industry," said Russ Kimball, general manager. "We continually strive to enhance our levels of customer service and hospitality, in addition to updates to our facilities, to ensure an exceptional atmosphere for each of our guests."

The Sheraton Sand Key Resort is nestled on 10 acres of exclusive beach adjacent to the renowned Sand Key Park and Preserve. The renovated resort offers 390 gulf and bay view rooms, a health club, tennis courts and beach and poolside recreation, in addition to the award-winning service provided by the dedicated staff.
