SHERATON SAND KEY EXECUTIVE ACKNOWLEDGED

TAMPA, Fla. - (September 12, 2005) - The Tampa Bay Business Journal recently recognized Sheraton Sand Key Resort Vice President and General Manager Russell A. Kimball, naming him among the 20 most influential players in the Bay Area's travel and tourism industry.

Kimball has been an active member in the hospitality industry for his entire professional career, including terms with the State Tourism Advisory Council and the Florida Hotel & Motel Association and has been largely involved in area Chambers of Commerce.

Trained at Paul Smith College and Florida State University, Kimball has been named Sheraton's franchise general manager of the year three times and currently serves on the Pinellas County Tourist Development Council.

Kimball has been affiliated with the Sheraton organization for almost 3 decades, the majority of this time served with the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. His level of dedication to the resort is reflected throughout his staff - his sales staff has an average of more than 10 years with the resort!
