SHERATON SAND KEY ANNOUNCES KIDS CAMP 2002
CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. - (June 2002) - The Sheraton Sand Key Resort on Clearwater Beach
announces Kids Camp 2002. Children can enjoy supervised beach fun, pool games, movies, arts and
crafts and even field trips to area attractions.
The camp is designed for children ages five to 12 and offers an opportunity for young resort
guests to meet others their age while allowing mom and dad some free time for meetings, beach
relaxation, tennis or the fitness center. Kids Camp will run through August 31, 2000 and is
available Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Kids Camp offers plenty of kid-friendly games and activities including beach combing for shells
and sea treasures, sports on the beach, tennis with Pro Carl Gavine, pool games and daily trips
to the Sand Key Park playground. If unfavorable weather is expected, the fun moves inside for
organized games, movies and arts and crafts. Lunch is provided and consists of pizza, hot dogs
and other good stuff.
The fun just doesn't stop at the Sheraton Sand Key. On Friday nights, kids meet for pizza, movies
and more fun at Friday's Kids Night Out from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Registration for the camp takes place each morning and the cost is $18 per child, per day.
Friday's Kids Night Out is $12 per child.
The Sheraton Sand Key Resort is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico adjacent to the renowned
Sand Key State Preserve. The 390-room, 15-suite property offers all bay and gulf view rooms with
private balconies and a beautiful white sand beach.
