With three MLB teams training locally, the Tampa Bay Area is a premier spring baseball destination. Clearwater has been the spring home of the Philadelphia Phillies for over 50 years. The New York Yankees currently train at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Dunedin has hosted the Toronto Blue Jays for spring training since the team’s inception. There’s no better place for a baseball fan to be in the month of March!

Tampa Bay Downs

Tampa Bay Rowdies
The Rowdies were the first professional sports franchise in the area and remain one of the most recognizable and well-loved brands in soccer. Originally established in 1975, the team won the NASL Soccer Bowl championship in its inaugural year and created a unique, entertaining and memorable franchise. Today, they play at Al Lang Stadium in Downtown St. Petersburg.
