CLEARWATER, Fla. (July 31, 2017)—The Sheraton Sand Key Resort helped Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Tampa Bay make a splash for their new public service announcement.  The resort hosted the film shoot on their 13-acre private beach.

The PSA takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to being a mentor for BBBS. It also promotes their specialty license plate. For each plate sold, BBBS receives $25 to help kids across Florida.

BBBS is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network to help at-risk youth.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters is a great organization so we’re happy to support them,” said General Manager Russ Kimball. “It’s a vast program that has a profound impact on these children.”

The PSA takes place on the beach in the Florida sunshine. Sheraton provided a room for the crew and talent to cool off between takes. They also provided transportation to and from the beach and umbrellas and chairs.
